Oceanside Breakers had a great season in the USL’s Super Y League. Having one team qualify for the SYL National Championships would be a wonderful accomplishment. Breakers have THREE teams heading to Florida in December.

Great Food for a Great Cause
The Breakers community is helping families fund the cross-country trip. At the end of this month, the club will to host the inaugural Oceanside Breakers Gala. Six local chefs will donate their time and cooking skills to prepare a five-course gourmet meal. All proceeds will directly fund the trip to Super Y Finals for the three Breakers squads.
September 30th at 6pm
The September 30th event will be at Oceanside’s QLN Center, a few blocks east of the Breakers’ home fields at the SoCal Sports Complex. Tickets are $99 each. Everyone attending will enjoy the 5 course gourmet dinner from six local top chefs.

Frank Zimmerman, Breakers Director of Coaching, describes, “Our kids deserve the best. We will rally to provide them the opportunity to jump on a plane, many for the first time, and compete against champions from other parts of the country in a national competition.”
USLX: The USL Experience
Players in the Super Y League also have the chance to earn a spot at the “USL Experience”
Zimmerman explained, “One of our players who attended last year was chosen for the USL Experience was captain of the team and had a positive experience. The opportunities for development as well as exposure and upward mobility that exist via the Super Y League are especially important for our teams.”
