US Youth Soccer National League is the highest level of competition for teams competing under the USYS umbrella. Twice a year, teams come together to fight for direct tickets to the National Championships. This year, the 2019 National Championships will be held in Overland Park, Kansas, July 23-28. Legends IE GU16 run the table
Legends IE (Inland Empire) GU16 were undefeated through both weekends of National League competition. As a result, the girls won their division outright. Consisting of all sophomores and one freshman, the team is from San Bernardino and coached by Ted Small. See more about the team HERE.
Legends South GU19 undefeated
The GU19 team from Legends South is based in Temecula and coached by Jenny Lawler. The roster consists of two high school sophomores, eight juniors, and twelve high school seniors. Most noteworthy, the roster boasts impressive official college commitments from the team’s graduating seniors. Legends South GU19 also went undefeated through National League competitions and finished as group runners up because of two ties. At the GU19 age, champions and runners up both qualify for the National Championships in Overland Park Kansas. See more about the team HERE.
