SAN DIEGO – There are two more international friendly matches scheduled for the U.S. Women’s National Team, as now they will also face Brazil twice in October at home. The Brazilian Football Confederation already confirmed the two matches a couple of days ago, and U.S. Soccer Federation confirmed it today. The matches will happen on October 21st and 25th.

The first match on October 21st between the recent World Champions and the Seleção will be happening at the Centurylink Field in Seattle. Last time the USWNT played in Seattle was in 2002 during a pair of World Cup qualifier matches at Safeco Field.

On October 25th the two teams will be playing at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando. The U.S. and Brazil have played a match at this stadium in 2013, which the U.S. won by 4-1.

These two matches against Brazil will be the 5th and 6th ones scheduled post-World Cup. The victory tour starts next Sunday, August 16th in Pittsburgh, with one of the two friendly matches against Costa Rica. Then the second one will happen on August 19th in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Next month, the U.S. will face Australia in another pair offrindly matches, the first one happening on September 17th in Detroit and the second one on September 20th in Birmingham, Alabama.

There are still another 4 matches to be set, as the USWNT will play a total of 10 matches until the end of the year in celebration of the World Cup title. We hope that at least 1 of the 4 remainder matches ends up happening in California.
