Drumroll please! The soccerloco Surf Cup is taking place this weekend on July 25-27th! The soccerloco Surf Cup is ranked one of the top two in the nation, we invite you to join “the Best of the Best” soccer players, nationally recognized coaches and top scouts during this premier soccer tournament!
The soccerloco Surf Cup competition is the highest its been since the past 15 years! Teams from all over are coming out to test their skills, we are getting participation from 28 states across the country and 3 international teams: Mexico, Canada and Guam! This year’s cup has nearly doubled in size, accepting 696 teams and still having to cut over 200 teams to participate.
This years tournament has a special addition, a players lounge! This space is exclusively for players of the tournament where they will be able to decompress in between their games. The lounge will be equipped with Xboxes and FIFA15 for all soccer related purposes. Also, SoccerNation.com will have set up their own media tent, where we will get the inside scoop on the coaches, players, and scouts attending the event, be sure to check it out!
A little about the Surf Cup: this Class 1 tournament hosts over 450 college coaches, numerous scouts and thousands of spectators. The event will be held at the San Diego Polo Club and the SoCal Sports Complex with thirty-eight full sized soccer fields manicured and prepared for the event. In addition, the Surf Cup organization is responsible for donating over $300,000 to soccer related charities in previous years!
