The National Soccer Coaches Association of America is offering this great opportunity for all of the young coaches who are looking for that bump in their career. NSCAA basically chooses 30 candidates that are under 30 years old to educate and mentor them during one year in order to develop their skills and enhance their coaching abilities. Usually at the age of 30 this is a crucial point in a coach’s career to make it or break it. This is a program for those are a serious about the profession and really want to make coaching soccer their career.

The program started in 2013 with one edition per year and every year candidates come from all types of backgrounds. Some are youth coaches, as well as high school, college and even professional coaches, but no matter what is their specialty, this is a place where they can all go to improve their game.

In 2014 there were over 600 applicants, and at the end 15 men and 15 women were picked to participate in the program.

By participating, coaches will receive a $1,800 scholarship, a travel allowance of $300, recognition on NSCAA website and Convention, and access to a mentor, plus other additional benefits.

Applications will be accepted from June 1st until June 15th of 2015. In order to be considered, coaches must be a current NSCAA member, have a minimum of two years of coaching experience, and be under the age of 30 years old.
