SEPT PUMA PLAYER OF THE MONTH:

Kerry Ashkenaze is a senior at JSerra Catholic High School & currently plays midfield for Laguna United Football Club. She’s been playing soccer since she was three & recently discovered a passion for coaching. She loves volunteering with Laguna Niguel’s TOPSoccer Program, assistant coaching for LNYSA’s GU12 team, & working for LUFC DOC at the LUFC summer camps.

Outside of soccer, Kerry enjoys singing in her high school honors choir, writing for her high school newspaper, & studying languages. Next fall, she hopes to attend Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.

“Kerry is a very mature, driven and giving young lady. She embodies what we hope for in all of our LUFC players, someone who not only works hard on the field but is community focused and has great character and class off the field as well.” – LUFC DOC Carrie Taylor
