Nate and Dike jump back into the summer of soccer with a recollection of Sunday’s epic 4-3 comeback victory over Brazil in the Tournament of Nations at Qualcomm on Sunday in sunny San Diego. The conversation includes a chance encounter with Women of the Match Megan Rapinoe, freshly showered after registering a goal and 2.5 assists.

The talk then shifts to the SoccerCity #WaitForSD movement that officially kicked off on Sunday. Spoiler Alert: This MLS process is exhausting.

Club Tijuana has finally scored a goal, albeit in Copa MX play and not Liga MX, but Paul Arriola’s header gave Eduardo Coudet’s men their first victory under the Argentine and could be just the thing needed to kickstart this Apertura campaign.

The lads go local-ish with a few housekeeping notes relating to the US Soccer Development Academy planting their playoffs in San Diego for the next two years, and Bob Bradley’s appointment as LAFC’s first coach on the same day Sigi Schmid was announced as LA Galaxy gaffer.

Enjoy!
