The freshly released kits will officially take the pitch at Chile’s U20 men’s match on August 9th versus Qatar in Alcúdia, Spain. The new national team kit will feature a classic red, white and blue color scheme, with the design inspired by the country’s flag and the Chilean passion for La Roja.
The home jersey includes an all red base with blue cuffs on the sleeves and a white collar. The uniform is completed with blue shorts and white socks, along with the Chile Football Federation logo on the left chest of the shirt.
The away kit for the Chilean side features the same color scheme with a white base for the uniform. The kit is completed with a blue collar, red cuffs on the sleeves along with white shorts and socks to reference the look of elegance the Chileans have when they move the ball around the pitch.
The new kits for Chile highlights the recent success of La Roja and the respect they have received beginning at the World Cup in Brazil last summer. They have pushed passed a favored Argentina in the final of the Copa América and have bought the South American country into the discussion of a dominant footballing power.
Chile will now provide its supporters with the necessary gear by Nike to cheer on the national side as they will be fighting to further present itself to the football world.
