TapRoom San Diego have finalized a partnership deal with Albion Pros for the 2016 NPSL season. The deal is based on many mutually beneficial factors for both parties. TapRoom realizes that there is an opportunity to grow the soccer community in the Pacific Beach area, which sorely lacks a central soccer hub where fans of the game can commune. Albion Pros feel they can help spread the word and bring TapRoom into the fold as a premier place to watch live soccer games. TapRoom is definitely set up for success with dozens of large TV’s, great food and craft beer in a bustling area full of potential soccer fans. TapRoom General manager Grant Eorio commented, [quote_box_center]“We hope to host all events for Albion Pros along as well as bring in a soccer crowd for all major EPL games, UEFA Champions League games, and the like. In turn, Albion Pros will make TapRoom their pre-game tailgate location for fans to come eat, drink and interact with other fans. Albion Pros’ supporters group, The Deep End, will be part of the game day atmosphere at TapRoom and will march less than a mile away with drums beating and flags flying to nearby Mission Bay Stadium for Albion home games. Also, players will have hosted pre-game meals at TapRoom and will be present postgame to interact with fans. With nine scheduled home games, TapRoom and Albion Pros can expect a buzzing atmosphere starting March 5th (5pm vs. Real San Jose) and continuing through the rest of the summer months.
The first opportunity to see the new partnership on a grander scale will be at the Albion Pros Official Launch Party hosted at TapRoom on Sunday, February 21st at 4:30pm. An event that is open for all members, fans and friends to come help support San Diego’s own Professional Soccer team. Expect to see Albion Pros gear, season tickets for sale, great food and craft beer on tap, plus plenty of other great surprises!
