The Albion Cup National Soccer Showcase recently wrapped up the 2019 event — the 19th in the tournament’s history.
High-level competition
After 600 applications rolled in, just over 500 teams were accepted into the competition. With so many top-level competitive teams, the level of play was elevated as the game of soccer grows year after year.
Coast-to-coast and beyond
Teams arrived for the Soccerloco-sponsored event from across the country and across international borders. A strong contingent of Southern California teams were in attendance. In addition, teams arrived from Northern California, Washington, Hawaii, Utah, Nevada, Texas, New Jersey, Colorado, and Canada. (Check out this adorable team from Hawaii)
Director, Noah Gins, in his own words
“The level of competition was impressive, and the weather and fields: super. The organization takes great pride in the running of the event and all comes together to help make the event shine. The event continues to invest in bringing in the best referees, college coaches, and offer the best to coaches and teams.”
