In the week that the UEFA Champions League returned from its customary winter hiatus, adidas has unveiled the Official Match Ball to be used during the knock-out rounds and in the Champions League Final. The Finale Milano takes its name from the majestic city of Milan, Italy which is due to host the 2016 Final.
The design includes some of the city’s most iconic symbols, with the Teatro alla Scalais featuring alongside the infamous stairs of the San Siro – the setting for this year´s UEFA Champions League showdown. En route to the final, the likes of Messi, Gareth Bale, David Silva, and Mesut Ozil will all look to boss the competition as they seek European supremacy.
