LUFC has begun a program called PUMA COACH OF THE MONTH in order to recognize and highlight their strong coaching staff. We believe in our coaches and have opened up nominations from our parents, players and other staff members. The Coach of the Month receives a PUMA backpack in appreciation for all of their hard work.
Our first coach of the month is COACH SAM NICHOLSON. Sam is a tireless worker who embodies what LUFC is all about. He is an educator of players, and instills his passion for the game into his players. Sam coaches our boys 2001, 2002, 2006, 2005 & 2008 age groups. He is always willing to step up to the plate to help where needed for our Laguna United Football Club.

“Sam is not only an amazing coach but is on top of things with communication, to not only his players, but his parents too. A few years ago before my son was on Sam’s team, he was ready to quit the sport, but after that first month with Sam, he found his love for the sport again. Sam encouraged, coached and believed in my son and now he has grown tremendously under Sam’s coaching.”
