CONCACAF, CONMEBOL and the Copa America Centenario Local Organizing Committee has announced game dates and group seeds to the 2016 Copa America Centenario.

The Copa America will be held from June 3-26 at 10 stadiums in the United States.  It will feature all 10 CONMENBOL countries (Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela) and six CONCACAF countries (United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica). The final two spots will be determined in a one-game playoff on January 8 that features Cuba vs Panama and Haiti vs Trinidad and Tobago.

As the tournament hosts, the United States has been seeded into Group A and will play in the opening match on June 3 in Santa Clara at Levi’s Stadium. Brazil is the top seed in Group B and will open up in Seattle on June 4. Mexico, Group C top seed, will play in Glendale, Arizona on June 5 and Group D top seed Argentina will kick off its tournament in Santa Clara on June 6.

San Diego was not selected as a host city, but there is a combined six matches that will be played at the Rose Bowl and in Glendale, which also featured the third place game. As of today’s announcement, the Rose Bowl will host Brazil, and Mexico (June 9) along with an unannounced Group A game on June 7.

The remaining 12 participating nations will be sorted into the four groups in early 2016 based on a public draw. Seeding for the draw will be based on the December 2015 FIFA World Rankings.
