SAN DIEGO – CA Homegrowns is a feature that tracks the progress of all of professional soccer players from California. Check out the list for some familiar names! Let us know if we left a player out!

USMNT – U.S. played against Jamaica on July 22nd for the Gold Cup semifinals for the Gold Cup semifinals, losing 2-1. On July 25th, they played Panama for the third place and also lost on PK shootouts by 3-2.

Chris Wondolowski – F – San Jose Earthquakes: Did not play against Jamaica. Started the game against Panama, played for 60 minutes, had 1 shot and committed 2 fouls, then subbed out for Clint Dempsey.

Nick Rimando – GK – Real Salt Lake: Did not play against Jamaica and Panama.

Gyasi Zardes – F – LA Galaxy: Started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes against Jamaica, had 2 shots and committed 2 fouls. Did not play against Panama.

Joe Corona – M – Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz (Mexico): Did not play against Jamaica. Started and played for the entire 120 minutes against Panama, suffering 3 fouls.

Marc Pelosi – M – San Jose Earthquakes: Subbed in for Chris Wondolowski with 70 minutes on the clock against Vancouver Whitecaps losing 3-1, committed 1 foul and suffered 2.
