Things couldn’t be any better for the TFA young academy project as the Academy CU12s were recently crowned Regional Champions of the Far West Region.
After going undefeated in bracket play, the team continued its winning ways by defeating Surf Hawaii (4-1) in the quarters, Sereno West 03 (3-2) in the semi’s and by defeating Seattle United 02’s (1-0) in the Championship Final.
This victory is a true testament to all the committed players and coaching staff who had to withstand untimely adversity to overcome it all.
Special congratulations goes out to Coach Geo for not only putting on another superb coaching display of beautiful soccer, but for also managing it during a difficult time.
