Since the beginning of team training, Austin Guerrero and Jordan Chavez have been part of the San Diego Loyal Soccer Club family.

Many savvy SD Loyal fans had been asking, “Where’s Jordan?” And, “Why isn’t Austin on the roster?” Front-office business dealings with the club and the league delayed the signings. Finally, though, it’s official. San Diego native sons Austin Guerrero and Jordan Chavez have put pen to paper. Both are now fully rostered San Diego Loyal Soccer Club professionals.

Defender, Jordan Chavez

Chavez surprised his dad on Father’s Day with the news that he was getting his pro contract. Landon Donovan and the SD Loyal technical staff spotted Chavez playing with Chula Vista FC.

Goalkeeper, Austin Guerrero

Guerrero was born in Chula Vista and went to Otay Ranch High School. He’s also the goalie you see on SD Loyal ads around town on busses, trolly cars, and billboards.

Also, he could possibly give SD Loyal Chairman Andrew Vassiliadis a run for his DJ money. Spin-off anyone??
