San Diego Loyal Soccer Club will be looking to load more points into their suitcases tonight. The Loyal squad earned a point with last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Orange County Soccer Club.
Next up, it’s another road game against the Las Vegas Lights.
Kickoff is at 7:30pm. ESPN+ and Fox5 San Diego will be broadcasting the match.
Leaving August behind as we begin September with a match in Vegas.

Where’s Joe?
SD Loyal recently added more offensive firepower up top with hometown son Miguel Berry. Berry, the seventh pick in the latest MLS Draft, is on loan to San Diego from Columbus Crew.

The defense, however, has been missing Joe Greenspan. “Joe Says No” Greenspan has been absent from the lineup as a starter or a sub for weeks. He was spotted at training recently, though. Hopefully, he will be on the back line soon.
SoccerNation reached out to SD Loyal, requesting information about Greenspan’s status. Loyal doesn’t publish injury reports or updates. But the club came through on Twitter:

Joe did not travel with the team to Las Vegas and is still working his way back to fitness from a lower body injury.
